"Bright Red Peppers with a Greenish Blue Cup/Bowl" Oil on Canvas, 8"x 10", Original Painting FOR SALE: $75.00 + $10.95 S&H |
Well hello there! It's January 1st, 2015 and thus begins another 30 Paintings in 30 Days Painting Challenge! And I'm so super excited! But first off I'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! May you have many blessings and peace in this New Year 2015!
So far, this is my fourth challenge, and I usually do a theme when I do these challenges: In my first challenge, I did "Kaleidoscopic Snowflakes". In my second challenge, I did "Animals and Wildlife", and in my last challenge, I did "Still Lifes of Metal and Glass."
My theme for this 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge, however, will be "Every and Anything"
Over the next 30 days, I will be painting every and anything from landscapes, to pet portraits; from people portraits, to still lifes; and so forth! (To learn more about why I chose this theme click HERE.)
Day 1's painting is a beautiful, colorful still life, featuring bright red peppers with a greenish blue cup/bowl. I really love the colors in this one and the brightness of the peppers. This painting would look great in anyone's kitchen!
Tomorrow, for Day 2's 30 in 30, I will be unveiling another "Every and Anything" painting, so stay tuned . . .
Until then, 'Til later fellow art lovers! Take care, and God bless!

Love your palette! The peppers are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think "Everything and Anything" might be my theme as well! :)
Thank you Ann! Yes, I think an "Any and Everything" series might be a little bit easier for me this time around. That way I can make it more fun and paint what ever speaks to me, whether it be a landscape, portrait, still life . . . or so forth. Thanks so much for your comment. I visited your blog as well. Such a cool piece you posted. I struggle with depression from time to time, too, so your piece really speaks to me.
DeleteI agree with Ann...and love the cup/bowl too.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
