Day 6: 30 in 30: Every and Anything Series

Hello everyone! It's January 6th, 2015 and today is Day 6 of my 30 Painting's in 30 Days Painting Challenge!

My theme for this 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge is "Every and Anything" and over the next 24 days I will be painting every and anything from landscapes, to pet portraits; from people portraits, to still lifes; and so forth! (To learn more about why I chose this theme click HERE.)

Today's painting is a still life of three green pears, done in pastels. I did a similar one, just like it for an art show at the Creative Wellness Center, Mental Health Association of Rochester, NY. You can see that one here:

Both paintings were a lot of fun to do. I truly enjoy using pastels, and especially when drawing fruit!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy today's painting!

I'm going to be taking some photos of my three little girls over the next couple of days, so I think I'll be doing a couple of their portraits during the 30 in 30, soon, as well.

Tomorrow, for Day 7's 30 in 30, I will be unveiling another "Every and Anything"  painting. However, I'm not sure what it will be. But if you wanna know, stay tuned . . .
