Hello fellow art lovers!

It's Day 17 of the Leslie Saeta 30 Paintings in 30 Days Painting Challenge and I have my new 17th painting for you today!

Yesterday, I told you that I would paint the animal that my daughter Faith suggested, and here it is: A beautiful, black and white panda chewing on a tasty piece of bamboo!

I hope you enjoy! See you for day 18!

'Til later fellow art lovers!

    1. Thanks Joan! Yes, they each have a story about how their names were chosen. Miriam's name came from a dream that I had when I was probably about 19 years old. In the dream I saw a cute little girl, near toddler age, playing outside of a tent in the soil. And in the dream I felt so consumed with love for her for I just knew that she was my daughter. And my heart ached to hold her and be near her. It was a quick dream, and instantly I woke up, but in my head, I woke up to the word "Miriam." The sound of the name Miriam in my ears woke me up from my sleep, and deep down inside I knew that one day I'd have a baby girl and that I would call her Miriam, Right then I prayed to God, thanking Him for the dream. That dream took place at age 19. I didn't have Miriam though until age 26. And she came with a twin, Faith, who was named after one of my husband's friend's daughters. Sephora was named after Moses' wife Zipporah. The name Sephora is a derivation of the Hebrew name Zipporah. I just have always loved the name Sephora, ever since I was a kid reading my Bible studies, so we named Sephora, Sephora.
