Original 8x10 Pastel Painting For Sale - "Bird on a Snow-Covered Branch" : $50.00+ $6.95 Shipping and  Handling
Good morning!
Day 15 of the January Leslie Saeta 30 Paintings in 30 Days Painting Challenge is finally here! And do you know what that means? . . . You guessed it: That means I'm halfway through the challenge! Yaaaaaaaaay! So excited!
I found the photo of this little guy on 'Paint my Photo' and decided to draw him in pastel for today's post.  He's a cute little bird, just hanging out in the snow, on a nice little branch, in the middle of winter.
As suggested by Joan, of Art is a Rhapsody Treasure, I recently asked my three little ones, what animals they thought that I should paint next. And Miriam, said that I should paint some birds. Faith and Sephora?, well you'll just have to wait and see what they said in my next upcoming blog posts, because I will be painting their suggestions!
Anyway, thanks so much for visiting my blog today! I wish you all a very happy Wednesday!
'Til later, fellow art lovers!

  1. This little birdie is SO cute. I can see all the feathery details, too. I love the softness as well. I like Miriam's (very pretty name, BTW) suggestion to paint a bird.

I love birds! My husband teases me and calls me "Bird Woman", because I feed the birds so much. When my daughter was a little girl, she participated in a university study and reported the bird activity in our yard. It was a lot of fun. I think that is when I appreciated birds even more and to this day, just love watching them. They are so little and precious, and their colors and markings are beautiful. Have fun with Day #16!
