Day 23 of 30 in 30 Painting Challenge: Animals: "Girly Goat"

Original 8x10 Pastel Painting For Sale - "Girly Goat" : $50.00+ $6.95 Shipping and  Handling
Hello everyone!

It's day 23 of the Leslie Saeta 30 Paintings in 30 Days Painting Challenge and I have my new 23rd animal painting for you today!

I painted this cute little girly goat, last night in my studio in the basement. Shortly afterward I started working on it, I heard a few small footsteps coming down the stairs of the basement. Then my daughter, Sephie popped her head in the doorway, saw the painting and instantly commented on how much she liked the painting. Now, at that point, it was already 10:00 in the p.m. and I had already put her and her sisters to bed at 8:00 p.m. She, at that point, was supposed to be sleeping two hours ago. I almost sent her back upstairs, but quickly decided that I wanted her company, so I let her stay up a little. And besides, I thought to myself,  she's in an afternoon kindergarten class, so she could sleep in if she needed to.

I really had to push myself to complete this painting last night, as I was sooooo tired, but Sephora's company helped me push through. She's so sweet, pleasant, and funny, Being her mom is really good for my soul. She and her sisters, as well as their father keep me going. I'm really blessed.

Well, that's all for now my fellow art lovers!

Take care and God bless!

  1. I love this little "Girly Goat". She is so cute. And I especially love the post for today - how very precious that your little girl came downstairs to see what you were painting!! What a beautiful relationship you share with all three of your daughters - I love it!!! Have a Happy Friday! Enjoy Day #24.
