Day 23 of 30 in 30 : "Flowers in Glass"

"Flowers in Glass" Oil on Canvas, 8"x 10", Original Painting,  $25+$10.95 Shipping & Handling

Today marks the twenty-third day of Leslie Saeta's 30 Paintings in 30 Days Painting Challenge! And I am super pleased and excited to present to you my twenty-third oil painting for the challenge titled "Flowers in Glass" !

"Flowers in Glass" is the twenty-third oil painting still life in my "Metal and Glass" series. Over the next 7 days, all of the subject matters for my paintings will consist of either metal or glass or both. To learn more about why I chose "Metal and Glass" as my theme for the challenge click here!

Love the dark background and the reflections on the glass in this one. How about you?

In my last post, I promised you that I would show you one of the paintings that I painted that had gotten selected for a local art show titled "Sirens and Seahorses". As promised, here it is:

This painting will be available for sale at the "Sirens and Seahorses" exhibition in Rochester NY. To learn more about the exhibition click HERE

Both of the two paintings that I submitted got accepted into the show, so you ask . . . What about the second one? Well, I'll show you that one tomorrow! :)

Stay tuned . . .

'Til then fellow art lovers! Take care and God bless!

  1. Hey There Samara! Another pretty piece. I love the shapes of the flowers on this one, very pretty. I LOVE your seahorse painting. Like I mentioned over at your facebook post, I think this painting would make awesome custom tiles for a bathroom!! Have fun with Day #24. (I'm a tad behind...however, still plugging away with whatever I can finish for the 30 in 30. :)

    1. Thanks so much Joan! Congrats on completing another 30 in 30! :) You and I both got a little behind, but I'm still so very proud of us and all of the other artists who have participated. Great job, Joan! :)
