  2. I just saw the picture of your little girls at their pink easels!!! They are BEAUTIFUL !!! And you have Twins! How very exciting!! It is so precious that you capture them in your paintings. That is a wonderful idea, too, because time really does fly by! My 'baby girl' is 22 years old now and I remember her toddler days as if they were yesterday! (I'm lucky though because she is in college and I am so fortunate that she carpools with her dad and she lives at home with us!! :O) I've enjoyed all 22 years like beautiful chapters in a book!!!

    1. Thanks so much Joan. Yes, my girls are only 6,6, and 4 and already it seems as the time is flying by. Every time I look into their faces I can remember the day we brought them home from the hospital, how tiny there were. And in another 6 years they'll be 12, 12, and 10. Hard to believe how quickly the time passes. If they can be 6,6, and 4, now, then it's only a matter of time before they're 12, 12, and 10 and then teenagers! I love to see them grow up and see their personalities develop, but as each day goes by I still miss them being so young. They will always be my little babies no matter how old they get. I can see that already. I can see how sometimes it can be hard for parents to let go and let their children grow up because for them their children will always be their babies. You feel a connection with them unlike anyone else because you've been taken care of them every day of their lives and they are a part of you. A physical part of you. It's so amazing to see yourself in others. All the character traits and physical likenesses that children pick up from their parents. Truly an amazing beautiful thing. They are a blessing!
